In Conversation with God:

In this arduous contest she gave him the victory, so that he might learn that godliness is more powerful than anything…

… we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places… Every day there are contests within our hearts… Each man fights against a whole army within his soul. The enemies are pride, avarice, gluttony, sensuality, laziness… it is difficult to prevent those attacks from wounding us….

Omnia possum in eo qui me confortat…

… God asks us… to struggle without respite against the passions that tend to pull us down. He asks us never to form a pact with our defects or mistakes…

Sanctity is not rigid like cardboard; it knows how to smile, to give way to others and to hope…

… insides are feeling so hollow… it’s a hard pill to swallow… i’ll never recover… i’ll never be the same…i really want to love somebody, i really want to dance the night away… i really want to touch somebody, i think about you every single day… you’re such a hard act for me to follow, love me today, don’t leave me tomorrow… i don’t know where to start, i’m just a little lost…
