This article basically touches on how becoming a mother changes one’s priorities, and then cites a bunch of percentages that suggest different concerns and different levels of concern based on age of children and other factors.
Frankly, I have mixed feelings about just the title to begin with. Is the concern of mothers something to be quantified? It’s almost comical and yet rather ghastly when one supposes the implied flipside – which is that 49% of mothers could care less. I’m sure that’s not what they mean – or at least, I would hope that’s not what they mean – but it’s just one of those things that it seems a) one oughtn’t put numbers to because it b) ought to be a given.
